Die wiel simboliseer ontwikkeling en vooruitgang, terwyl elkeen van die speke 'n komponent van die opvoedingsideaal, soos geloof in God, patriotisme, arbeidsaamheid, volharding en moed verteenwoordig. Vir elkeen wat sulke deugde nastrewe, is 'n lourierkrans van oorwinning beskore. Die leuse 'Soek in die verlede' is in 'n stewige godsdienstige, historiese en kulturele fondament veranker.

Onderlinge positiewe gesindheid en vertrouensverhouding tussen leerlinge, ouers personeel en die gemeenskap te vestig en uit te bou tot voordeel van die skool en die gemeenskap. 'n Bydra daar te stel wat elke leerder se optrede en veiligheid sal verseker en die beste geleentheid gee tot opvoeding.
